Prague, Czech Republic

In the words of architect Christian Norber-Schulz, “Prague changes like a precious stone to reflect the weather, time of day, and the season of the year.”

October in Prague is cold; and pre-sunrise is one of the harshest, yet most beautiful, parts of the day. Haze rises off slow moving rivers, an ambient glow outlines a hundred stone spires, and thick-skinned Czechs brave the bitter cold air. Needless to say, I was freezing my ass off.

These images were captured over a series of three days and aim to capture the light and mystery I felt discovering this magical, eastern European city.
